Back to Basics

I had a recent recording session that was very rewarding and inspiring. Working with dedicated artists and individuals is very refreshing. We were able to record 5 songs and and get a rough mix on them within the span of 6 hrs; and that was even after jamming out to some tracks for an hour and a half. I've been re-energized on the production front. Currently, I'm working on three beats and I have concepts for 4 more that will either end up on the Live Through Music mix tape or my A Confined Individual album. This Live Through Music mix tape is very important to me as an artist and as a businessperson. It will showcase talent that is both up and coming and diamond in the rough. Due to jumping in with blinders on when I worked on previous projects, I am being prudent in developing this project and interacting with the artists involved. I was burned because I was too accommodating and tried to be more friend than CEO and mentor. Embarking on this new journey and outlook has me in a good place. I can't wait for this project to be complete and ready for public consumption because it will be an experience you want to share with everyone.
